ROCKFALL MITIGATION & SCALING
We reduce rockfall risk through scaling, boulder removal, and protective measures. Our skilled crews remove loose or unstable rock from steep slopes using ropes and specialized tools. For long-term protection, scaling is combined with the installation of barriers, netting, or shotcrete
SHOTCRETE
We apply shotcrete to exposed/unstable rock and soil faces. Whether part of a stabilization system or standalone reinforcement, our shotcrete work is clean, efficient, and built for long-term durability. We offer both wet-mix and dry-mix options, applied by skilled nozzle operators for consistent, high-quality results.
SPIDER EXCAVATOR WORK
We are the only contractor in Hawaii operating spider excavators — advanced machines designed for steep, uneven, or environmentally sensitive terrain. These machines allow us to safely clear debris and vegetation in areas that are inaccessible to standard equipment. We can work with greater efficiency and a much lower footprint with our spider excavators as compared to standard equipment. From cliffsides to water bodies to firebreak areas, our spider crews bring unmatched versatility and capability.
DRILLING & ANCHORING
We provide precision drilling for soil nails, anchors, and micropiles — even on steep or unstable terrain. Our experience ensures accurate installations that are built to perform and engineered to last. From temporary shoring to permanent ground support, our work is grounded in integrity and successful execution.
SOIL NAIL & MICROPILE INSTALLATION
​The installation of soil nails and/or micropiles stabilizes slopes by reinforcing the ground with steel bars grouted into pre-drilled holes. It’s a cost-effective and proven method for securing embankments and hillsides. Our team installs soil nail systems customized for the demands of each site, ensuring long-term solutions in Hawaii’s challenging terrain.
TRAIL WORK & REMOTE ACCESS
From public trails to remote areas, we provide light grading, stabilization, and debris and vegetation clearing in hard-to-reach areas. Our spider excavators and rope-access crews make us ideal partners for trail repair, hazardous rock removal, and slope improvements in sensitive areas.
ROCKFALL BARRIER FENCE INSTALLATION
We install high-strength rockfall fences to intercept falling debris and protect roadways, buildings, and trails below. The systems that we use are engineered for the specific site conditions. We work closely with project engineers to ensure the right system is in place — and installed to the specifications.
EMERGENCY LANDSLIDE RESPONSE
When slopes fail, a fast, reliable response is needed. We mobilize quickly to assess the site, secure access, and begin immediate cleanup and stabilization. Our crews are experienced with working in storm-damaged, remote, and high-risk areas.
EROSION CONTROL
From hydroseeding to matting and drainage improvements, we implement practical erosion control solutions that protect slopes, waterways, and infrastructure. Our erosion control methods are tailored to Hawaii’s environment — resilient to high rainfall and designed to prevent future slope failure.
